<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barry Edward Ebeling on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit at the age of 55 years. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and dear friend was born in Fairmont, Minnesota, USA to Gaylord and Rosella Ebeling and raised with 11 siblings. Barry came to Canada in 2009 and made his home in Red Deer with his wife, Karen (nee Ilk). He loved his work at the Westerner Exposition Association-riding his paint sprayer he nicknamed &ldquo;Hardley Davidson&rdquo;. He also enjoyed small engine repair, wood projects, karaoke and triking. <br /> <br /> <br /> Those we love don&rsquo;t go away <br /> They walk beside us every day. <br /> Unseen, unheard, but always near <br /> Still loved, still missed, still very dear. <br /> Love you Bear. <br /> <br /> <br />RED DEER, ALBERTA CANADA - MARCH 1ST, 2014 <br />A Celebration of Barry&rsquo;s Life was held on Saturday, March 01, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Stones Church, 2020 &ndash; 40 Avenue, Red Deer officiated by Al Robichaud. Thank you to all who attended the Service and to everyone who helped in making this day a very special and memorable one. <br /> <br />HUNTLEY, MN - APRIL 26TH, 2014 <br />A Celebration of Life Service for Barry Edward Ebeling, 55, of Red Deer Alberta formally of Fairmont MN will be held at 11am Saturday April 26th, 2014 at the Community Covenant Church of Huntley, MN with Pastor Dennis Anders officiating, a luncheon will follow. At 1:30pm there will be a burial service with military honors at the Fairview Memorial Park in Fairmont MN. <br /> <br />A Visitation will take place one hour prior (10am) to the service at the Community Covenant Church in Huntley, MN. <br /> <br />Barry went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit with his loving wife Karen by his side. <br /> <br />Barry Edward Ebeling, the son of Gaylord and Roselle Ebeling, was born on Aug. 19th 1958 in Fairmont, MN. He attended school in Fairmont, MN, and received his GED while serving in the Navy. <br /> <br />On Sept 4th, 1975 Barry enlisted with the United States Navy. Barry served on the USS DUBUQUE, he served his country proudly, earning his honorable discharge on Sept. 3rd, 1981. <br /> <br />Barry was an Eagle&rsquo;s Club member from 1979-2009, and served as their president for 4 of those years. He worked for Fairmont Foods from 1981-2009. <br /> <br />He loved his work at the Westerner Exposition Association in Red Deer Alberta. He also enjoyed small engine repair, wood projects, karaoke, triking, playing horseshoes and trips to Montana.
