Brooksie was a loving sister with a strong faith and will that saw her through the many trials of her life. She always had a smile for everyone and held in her memories the names of family and friends. She never forgot anyone that touched her life and Brooksie touched the lives of all who meet her.

Brooksie is predeceased by her mother, Sophie in 1963, her father, Manford in 1972 as well as a younger brother, Addison. She leaves to mourn her sister Valerie and her partner William Burgess; niece Jouline and her husband Craig Burgess; nephew Craig Comeau and his wife Allison; great nephew Everit and great niece Maddison. She was also loved by her cousin Johnny and his wife Grace. Johnny has passed away but Grace had continued to be a good friend to Brooksie even in her last days. Brooksie made a new friend JoAnne Morris the last few years, the two of them enjoyed many wonderful and happy hours together. She also leaves all her family at Michener Center that she loved and has known for 50 years.

We pray she is running, dancing and singing in Heaven free from all her limitations.

A Celebration of Life was held on September 27 at 1:00 p.m. at 218 Medley Drive, Red Deer Alberta.
