<div itemprop="description">Helen (nee Tooley) Dufresne of Blackfalds, Alberta passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Red Deer Hospice on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the age of 62 years. <br> <br>Beloved wife and best friend of Ian Dufresne of Blackfalds, Alberta. <br> <br>Loving mother of Erin Dufresne (fiancé Warren) of Melbourne, Australia and Colleen Dufresne (friend Jordan) of Blackfalds, Alberta. <br> <br>Dear daughter of the late Mary (nee McAnulty) and Irven Tooley. <br> <br>Very dear sister of Robert Tooley (wife Suzanne) of Oshawa, Ontario, Barbara DeCoteau (husband Frank) of Trail, British Columbia, Brent Tooley (wife Linda) of Espanola, Ontario, Gerald Tooley (wife Mary) of Victoria, British Columbia and the late Stanley Tooley (wife Jean of Stavley, Alberta) and Patrick Tooley (wife June of Kelowna, British Columbia). <br> <br>Helen was a very special Auntie to her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. <br> <br>Helen had a zest for life. She was a very warm hearted, giving lady who always had a sparkle in her eyes and an infectious smile. Upon retiring from Bruce Power Helen started a new chapter of her life in Blackfalds, Alberta and Mesa, Arizona. Helen loved to go shopping, play pickle ball, going to estate sales, playing jokes on any victim she could but most of all her biggest joy was her family. <br> <br>In following Helen’s wishes she has been cremated. Her ashes will be interned with her mother at the Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery later this summer. A Celebration of Life will be held March 2 at the Red Deer Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held in Mesa Arizona and Tiverton Ontario at dates to be determined later this summer. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta.
