<div itemprop="description">Joan Marie Rix passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, December 27 at the age of 58. <br /> <br />Her final few days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Joan always had a smile on her face and wore her heart on her sleeve. She is survived by her loving parents, Bill and Lois Deneff; brother, Billy; sister, Eva. Joan was predeceased by her husband Russell Rix, together they leave behind two beautiful daughters, Angie and Krista; grandson, Kaleb. She will also be remembered by her mother-in-law, Judy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat, Mike, Linda and Trudy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. <br /> <br />A memorial service will be held at Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150 &ndash; 67 Street, Red Deer, AB on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.</div>
