<div itemprop="description">Frances &quot;Marlene&quot; Pipella (nee Bjarnarson) <br /> <br />Sadly Marlene passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Foothills Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. <br /> <br />Marlene was born December 12, 1952 in Gladstone, Manitoba to Valdi and Grace Bjarnarson. She moved to Saskatoon in 1962 and later to Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Cochrane and finally Calgary. <br /> <br />Marlene is survived by her son, Kevin (Stephanie); sisters, Laura (Tom) Freeborn and Judy (Doug) Mustard; brother, Don (Karen) Bjarnarson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. <br /> <br />She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Pipella; infant son, Mathew; and brother, Harold. <br /> <br />Although Marlene is gone she will never be forgotten. She will be sincerely missed and in our thoughts and prayers forever. <br /> <br />Her cremated remains will be placed with her husband, Dennis and son, Mathew at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park AB in the spring</div>
