Frances "Marlene" Pipella (nee Bjarnarson)
Sadly Marlene passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Foothills Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Marlene was born December 12, 1952 in Gladstone, Manitoba to Valdi and Grace Bjarnarson. She moved to Saskatoon in 1962 and later to Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Cochrane and finally Calgary.
Marlene is survived by her son, Kevin (Stephanie); sisters, Laura (Tom) Freeborn and Judy (Doug) Mustard; brother, Don (Karen) Bjarnarson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Pipella; infant son, Mathew; and brother, Harold.
Although Marlene is gone she will never be forgotten. She will be sincerely missed and in our thoughts and prayers forever.
Her cremated remains will be placed with her husband, Dennis and son, Mathew at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park AB in the spring
