<div itemprop="description">Randolph &ldquo;Randy&rdquo; Kokaram died peacefully at Red Deer Regional Hospital, surrounded by family. Randy was born in La Brea and raised in Fyzabad, Trinidad &amp; Tobago, born to Cecil Claude and Milcah Kokaram, brother to Sheila, Alex, Annie, Barbara, Isabella, Peter, Michael, Ezekiel and Ruth. He came to Canada on September 17, 1967, worked in the NWT, completed a B.Ed. (University of Alberta) and settled in Red Deer (1976) and taught for over 25 years at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School. <br /> <br />Randy was survived by his wife, Sherry Allison; son, Ryan; daughters, Racqel and Roxy; son-in-law, Andrew Kirk; grandchildren, Rylee, Caleb, Annaliese, Jaimeson and Christopher; as well as siblings, and many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Sheila. <br /> <br />For those who wish to pay their respects, visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150 &ndash; 67 Street, Red Deer, Alberta. <br /> <br />The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26 at 1:30 p.m. at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, all donations in his honour may be made directly to either the Edmonton Dream Centre, Box 68169, 162 Bonnie Doon Mall, Edmonton, AB T6C 4N6 (www.edmontondreamcentre.ca) or to All Nations Harvest Church, P.O.
